On a brisk morning in May, 25 employees from the GBT NTA team members participated in the "Clean-up Campaign"organized by Sumida Ward; it was a meaningful team-building opportunity to deepen cooperation with the local community.
Participants grabbed gloves and garbage bags and set about cleaning up the Kinshicho neighborhood. The activity further strengthened the bond between team members, and also created opportunities to interact with local residents, making it a day to share the joy of social contribution away from the workplace.
One team member commented, "Being away from the office and sweating as a member of the local community gave me a sense of accomplishment that was different from what I get from my daily work. This kind of activity brings new meaning to our work".
GBT NTA aims to realize a sustainable society through its business activities, while at the same time making concrete contributions to the local community. Cleanup activities such as this one are positioned as part of this effort, and we will continue our ongoing efforts to ensure that each and every one of our employees can make a positive impact on society.
The actions of the GBT NTA Trash Talkers team made us think again about what corporate responsibility means. GBT NTA will continue to contribute to the creation of a better society, while valuing the connections between the company and its employees both inside and outside the company.
